It gives me great pleasure to say with pride that I have completed my Biotechnology from SVCE. The relationship between faculties and student is very cordial, which gave me an opportunity to excel in my area of interest. The four years spent here were splendid and has helped me to grow better professionally & personally. I would like to thank all the faculties and staff for making me a “Better Person”.

My Four years in SVCE [2014 Batch] was the best time span of my life. It gave me exposure, meeting with other students from different parts of the country. This has given me a better understanding of different cultures we have in our country. Today I work for one of the reputed Oil industry in our country where people from all parts of the country work. It’s SVCE that gave me the confidence to communicate with people having so many diverse cultures. It provided all the facilities and encouragement needed to attain high in life. I can see my department was important and a stepping stone in my career. It allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills, which are extremely important in any field of work.

I joined SVCE in the year 2011and passed out in 2015 in FIRST CLASS WITH DISTINCTION. Right from the Day One, the course of study i.e., chemical engineering has its own toughness and high demand in the global market.I’m currently working as an Assistant Manager-operations in ESSAR OIL @ vadinar refinery site. During my initial days of COLLEGE I was very much inclined towards my goal of getting an opportunity to not only work in refinery as an engineer but also to get a complete knowledge in commissioning a chemical plant. My dream came true today with the blessings of my faculties  as I’m working in refinery and already in my two and half years of my journey with ESSAR OIL  The success behind this would be the SVCE chemical engineering department faculties each and every one of them who gave their best to train me  to understand the unit operations basic concepts and have arranged many useful guest lectures from industry people who share their own experience in the industrial happenings apart from the conceptual stuffs.Faculties in SVCE has also took me along with the students of my batch to many industrial visits. Also faculties here have helped me in presenting papers in national and international conferences and journals. Overall it’s highly a competitive environment for a budding engineer.
